Our Story

Hi, we’re Jessie and Andy! a couple from Australia with a deep passion for exploring the world and living a simple, adventurous life on the road. Before we met, both of us had travelled extensively around the world, thriving on the experiences that come from immersing yourself in different cultures. 

However, when we met we had both got caught up in the daily grind of big-city hustle. Living in Sydney, we quickly realised that city life wasn’t where we truly belonged. So, whenever we had the chance, whether it was a short overnight trip or an entire week, we hopped into our trusty self-built campervan and escaped the city.

In 2023, we made the bold decision to pack up our lives in the city and set out on a round-the-world trip. We sought out unique experiences, connected with locals, and discovered hidden gems that made our travels even more enriching. 

Our adventures have taken us to various corners of the globe, from the stunning landscapes of Australia to the breathtaking fjords of Norway. We’ve camped on deserted beaches in Albania, road-tripped through Iceland, and stayed in beach palapas in Mexico. From tent camping to treehouses, hiking to van living, each adventure brings a new experience. Each time immersing ourselves in the local culture and embracing a truly nomadic lifestyle.

Happy Camper Culture was born out of our desire to inspire others to embrace a similar lifestyle. Our content is focused on providing you with authentic gear reviews and in-depth travel guides based on our first-hand experiences.
